07 Nov LEGO’s New London Store Opening Extravaganza

There’s no doubt about it, we’ve all played with LEGO at one time or another during our lifetimes and so we were over the moon when the leading toy brand got in touch with us to support the opening of their new store opening in London. Which, by the way, is set to be the world’s biggest LEGO store!

 

Making an Impact on London’s Streets

The event was many months in the making, with initial conversations beginning with LEGO a few months prior to when the news made the headlines, finally taking place in August on a warm, summers day, ahead of the reveal of the newly renovated Leicester Square store.

LEGO named it their ‘biggest build yet’ whereby we supported the toy brand design and bring to life not one, but three incredibly huge LEGO bricks in red, yellow, and blue.

The bricks didn’t just sit outside the Leicester Square store, but instead made their way across the capital to bring even more excitement to the stunt. In case the giant LEGO brick and the quadruplet of people dress up in hi-vis gear wasn’t enough to prompt what it was about, they arranged for a life-sized LEGO character to lead the way.

However, this wasn’t just a celebration of the expansion of LEGO’s Leicester Square store which received an impressive 300 square metre extension but also the brands 90^th birthday.

We have many loyal fans in the UK so we’re looking forward to thanking them for their passion for the LEGO Group by giving them the world’s biggest LEGO store on their doorstep – and it will be so much more than a store!

 “The 3D builds will tell unique stories inspired by British culture, there will be hands-on play experiences for all ages and a dedicated ’90 Years of Play’ walkthrough to celebrate the 90th year.”
