When Sage approached Megaflatables with an ambitious idea, the goal was to create a fully branded, cricket-inspired activation that would stand out across The Hundred tournament and give fans something they could actively take part in.
This was not simply a display piece. Sage wanted a bold, high-energy experience that celebrated its partnership with cricket, reflected the excitement of the game and created memorable interactions with supporters of all ages.
Megaflatables designed and produced an interactive cricket inflatable experience that travelled between venues, combining gameplay, strong Sage branding and reusable event infrastructure. The finished activation gave fans a reason to stop, play, take photos and engage with the brand throughout the tournament.
As specialists in sports inflatables, we were able to combine bespoke inflatable design with the practical requirements of a touring live-event activation.
Sage wanted a live activation for The Hundred that was fun, meaningful, memorable and unmistakably on-brand. It needed to reflect the excitement of cricket while supporting Sage’s sponsorship messaging around focus, insight and innovation.
The experience also had to appeal to a broad audience, from families and younger visitors through to committed cricket fans, while remaining visually strong enough to attract attention in a busy event environment.
From a practical perspective, the activation needed to be portable, durable and reusable. It would be transported between multiple venues, installed and operated repeatedly, and still had to look consistent and perform reliably throughout the campaign.
From the first sketches, our in-house design and production teams worked closely with Sage to develop a concept that balanced immersive gameplay, visual impact, brand consistency, safety and efficient event delivery.
Megaflatables delivered the Sage activation from concept through to live event delivery, combining bespoke inflatable design, production and on-site support.
The experience was built to be highly branded, interactive and practical to tour across The Hundred, with every element designed around fan engagement, durability and safe repeated use.
We designed the complete cricket experience around Sage’s identity, including the arena layout, target zones, soft-play cricket stumps and supporting branded props.
We manufactured the inflatable elements using durable materials and direct-to-fabric branding so the activation could withstand repeated touring and public use.
Our team supported delivery, setup, operation and de-rigging across the tour, helping the activation run consistently from venue to venue.
Each deployment included the required blowers, tethers, crowd-management measures and compliance checks for safe use in busy public event environments.
The finished activation gave Sage a memorable, hands-on presence throughout The Hundred, encouraging fans to stop, play and interact with the brand.
Because the inflatable system was portable and reusable, the same experience could be deployed across multiple venues while maintaining a consistent look, strong visibility and efficient event delivery.

Sage’s green branding and logos remained highly visible across the arena and supporting inflatable set pieces.
