Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of working on several fun and quirky projects. The opportunity to create a stage set for rock band Kasabian was no different, allowing our team to work closely with them to deliver not one but two giant inflatables to be used at the Summer Solstice II concert in Leicester’s Victoria Park on Saturday 6th July.
The Design Process
At Megaflatables, we understand how important it is getting your inflatable design right which is why our expert team takes the time to understand your vision and what you want to achieve from your giant inflatable. Working with Kasabian was no different.
We started by discussing the team’s vision including the size of the inflatables, colour scheme and shape. We worked together closely to perfect the design and colour palette, before creating an initial draft and submitted a final design that permitted any last-minute alternations before the magic began in the factory.
The Final Stage Set Inflatable
With the final stage set vision in sight, our team drew upon the bands vision to create two inflatables that would perfectly complement each other on stage. We utilised bright, bold colours including blue, pink, yellow and orange against a black background to make the shape of the inflatable stand out and perfectly reflect the stage lighting no matter where in the crowd you were stood.
