Megaflatables created an 18-foot portable inflatable giraffe, nicknamed Georgie, for Heart FM’s promotional events at safari parks across the UK. Designed to be eye-catching, recognisable and easy to transport between locations, the bespoke giraffe gave Heart FM a memorable branded centrepiece for listener engagement.
Heart FM needed a fun, portable promotional feature that could stand out at safari park events and travel easily between locations. The final concept became Georgie the Giraffe, an 18-foot branded inflatable designed to capture attention and support on-air listener promotions.

We developed the ‘Georgie’ giraffe concept around Heart’s need for a fun, instantly recognisable promotional character.

The installation transformed the Heart FM activation into a bold, immersive space. The 18-foot inflatable giraffe brought energy and personality into the space, but more importantly, they had that instant “wow” factor. Inflatables just work for this, they’re big, unexpected, and hard to ignore. People notice them straight away, and more importantly, they remember them. They also photograph really well. The scale, colour, and soft forms make them perfect for social content, so people naturally stop, take photos, and share them without being asked. It turns the space into something more than just a display, it becomes part of the experience. As a result:
